Agents/brokers in the life insurance and group health benefits industry in Canada are compensated by commissions, bonuses and other inducements from Insurance Companies and other providers. Companies may offer specific incentives for a limited number of agents/brokers in recognition of sales made over a specified period. Incentive-based compensation is an Industry wide practice. We are licenced in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

As independent brokers, we are bound by the laws governing life insurance agents in each respective province. Any product we recommend will be the one we deem to be best suited to meet your needs, without regard to compensation practices of any one company. If you purchase insurance, we will be paid a commission by the insuring company and may be eligible for other forms of compensation. Our role is to provide you with financial and policy advice, work on your behalf as your intermediary, advocate with the insurance company and resolve any questions you have while you hold that policy.

When you buy a product from any company listed below, we may place this business through a Managing General Agent (MGA): Financial Horizons (individual insurance) or GroupQuest Benefits Resources Inc. (group insurance). The MGA is compensated by the insurer. An MGA offers services to agents/brokers and insurance companies by assisting with marketing, compliance and administration and does not provide financial or policy advice to consumers.
